1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using K-Beauty Care ("the App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Service Description
K-Beauty Care provides AI-generated skin analysis based on user-submitted photos and recommends Korean beauty (K-Beauty) skincare routines and products available on Olive Young Global. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.
3. AI Analysis Disclaimer
The skin analysis and product recommendations provided by K-Beauty Care are generated by an AI model (Google Gemini) and are provided for informational and educational purposes only.
- The App is NOT a medical device.
- Results are NOT a medical diagnosis, prescription, or substitute for professional dermatological advice.
- Always consult a licensed dermatologist or healthcare professional for any skin condition or concern.
- We make no warranty about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated analysis.
- Reactions to skincare products vary by individual; always patch-test new products and review ingredient lists for personal allergies.
4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
- The App offers monthly and yearly subscription plans, processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the price shown at checkout unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings at any time.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. We do not issue direct refunds.
5. Free Trial
A free trial may be offered with the yearly plan. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your account will be charged automatically for the full subscription period at the price shown at signup.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful, personal purposes.
- Submit only photos of yourself or photos you have explicit permission to use.
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or interfere with the App or its underlying services.
- Not abuse, exploit, or overload third-party services accessed through the App (such as the Gemini API).
7. Third-Party Products and Links
Product recommendations may include links to Olive Young Global or other K-Beauty retailers. These links open in your default browser. We are not responsible for the products, prices, availability, shipping, returns, or policies of these third-party retailers. Any purchase made through these links is a transaction directly between you and the retailer.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, design, code, and trademarks of K-Beauty Care are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or commercially exploit any part of the App without prior written permission.
User-submitted photos remain the property of the user. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process the photo solely for the purpose of generating your AI skin analysis. We do not claim ownership of your photos.
9. Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to skin reactions, financial loss, loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service arising from or related to your use of the App.
- You use the App entirely at your own risk.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees already paid.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the App after updated Terms are posted means you accept the changes.
